LOCATION AND TIME:

The conference begins at 11am Thursday, November 21st and ends at 4pm on Sunday, November 24th at the Scarritt Bennett Center in Nashville Tennessee. 

Please make travel plans that allow ample travel time to and from the airport to the retreat site. The closest airport to is Nashville International Airport (BNA), which is about 20 mins by car. 

 

ATTENDANCE:

For continuity, we ask that all participants attend the entire program. If you would like to attend, but are unable to make it the whole time, please email alyssa@resourcegeneration.org

Making Money Make Change 2024 will offer a Transforming Philanthropy track for those who are High Net Wealth and/or involved in Family Philanthropy! The track will provide unique workshops and specialized small group pod time, while also engaging with many of the general MMMC offerings. REGISTRATION COSTS
Putting on a conference requires a tremendous amount of labor. We do not apply for any grant money or in-kind donations for this conference. Please pay at the highest amount you are able based on your financial situation and/or ability to access funds through your networks. Registration includes lodging (single occupancy room sharing a restroom with an adjoining guest room) and meals from Thursday Lunch to Sunday Lunch.

Full Cost Registration: 

$1150 for Members, $1250 for Non-Members

The full rate registration is closer to the actual costs associated with the conference; if you have limited access to inherited wealth and/or work a high-wage job, this level might be most appropriate.

 

Solidarity Registration: 

$1,500 for Members and Non-Members

This rate is most appropriate for people who are high-net-wealth and/or who have direct access to wealth. 

 

Subsidized Registration: 

$750 for Members and $850 Non-Members

This rate might be appropriate for some young people with class privilege who do not currently have direct access to wealth. Many people who attend MMMC expect to inherit wealth in the future or grew up in families with wealth, but might currently have difficulty affording full registration costs. We hold a limited number of slots for the subsidized rate. If you have questions about this rate, please be in touch.

 

Leadership/Student Registration: 

$600 for Members and Non-Members

As a thank you to returning leaders, we offer this optional pod leader registration rate. If you are a student who would not otherwise be able to attend, this rate might be appropriate. If you are not a returning leader, please be in touch before registering at this rate. Thank you!

Checks must be mailed upon completion of your registration. If check payments are not received within 10 business days, your registration may be revoked. Registration can be paid for in installments. If you would like to set up a payment plan please let us know. If you'd like to attend the conference and these rates aren't accessible to you please be in touch and we can work with you. 

Registration has been extended and is now open until Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET. We cannot accept any new registrants past that deadline.

COVID SAFETY

We are taking a calculated risk to gather together in person. Because we are gathering with people from across the country, participants are required to (1) mask indoors unless eating or drinking, (2) take a PCR test before travel, and (3) take a rapid test daily, sharing results with RG staff before convening with the group. A limited number of masks and tests will be on-site, but if you are able, please bring your own.

Because Making Money Make Change is an entry-level space, we welcome folks to attend the retreat as a participant once. After that, if you are excited to attend MMMC, we ask you to step into a leadership role. A great way to do this is to return as a pod leader.
