Last week, President Trump's Department of Justice moved to dismiss federal charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams in exchange for his collusion on immigration enforcement. Adams was scheduled to go to trial in April after being indicted by a grand jury last year for bribery, fraud, and soliciting illegal foreign campaign donations. 

The Department of Justice should not be used as a tool for backroom deals or political bargaining. We stand with the courageous prosecutors who have resigned in protest rather than participate in this corruption. We demand transparency, accountability, and equal justice under the law.
