Stop the Money Pipeline
Stop the Money Pipeline | Monthly Sustainer Drive

Stop the Money Pipeline pushes financial institutions to stop providing money to the fossil fuel industry―and to end the growth of the fossil fuel industry and hasten the transition to a renewable economy as a result.

In 2024, we:

  • Instigated and co-led the Summer of Heat on Wall Street campaign, held 32 protests at Citi's HQ, engaged over 5,000 people and put Citi's role in the climate crisis in mainstream media, like the New York Times.

  • Led the Costco: Clean Up Your Credit Card campaign, pushing Costco to end its co-branded credit card partnership with Citi. In October, we met with the Costco CEO and he showed real interest in our campaign.

  • Organized 8,000 Vanguard clients to demand that the world's largest investor in fossil fuels offers its clients fossil fuel-free funds.

  • Helped create two major reports: Hidden Risks in State Pensions and the Citi: Funding Fossil-Fueled Environmental Racism reports.

We're running a Monthly Sustainer Drive so that we can start 2025 in as strong a financial position as possible. Can you sign up to become a monthly donor to Stop the Money Pipeline today?

Monthly donors provide us a dependable source of revenue that allows us to more reliably budget our work, and is one of the best ways you can support our work. When you sign up to become a sustainer, you will also receive quarterly “Insider Updates” from our coalition director about our progress.

PS: Wondering why we're hosting our fundraising drive on 350 Seattle's website? As a coalition, we're not an independent 501(c)(3) but a fiscally sponsored project ― and 350 Seattle is one of our two kind and amazing fiscal sponsors.
