The health and safety of the American people requires swift and immediate action during the ongoing coronavirus crisis. We need leadership in Washington.

We applaud the House Leadership for passing legislation that provides free coronavirus testing to anyone who needs it; paid sick leave, as well as paid family and medical leave; and enhanced unemployment insurance to cope with this pandemic. This important legislation will also strengthen food insecurity initiatives, including SNAP, and will provide more funding for Medicaid.
