TELL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE: IT’S TIME TO RAISE THE MINIMUM WAGE IN PENNSYLVANIA

23 states in the county have raised or have committed to raising their minimum wage to $15 an hour—but Pennsylvania is not one of those states. Our minimum wage is still $7.25, hardly a livable wage.

Raising the minimum wage to $15/hour would significantly impact and uplift working people in the Commonwealth. And here's why we need why:

  • Higher baseline wages would help uplift thousands of families who currently live below the poverty line

  • By raising wages we're injecting more money into our economy and communities, boosting local businesses

  • Low wages in PA significantly impact people of color and women, with disproportionate impacts on women with children

  • PA's last minimum wage increase was a 10-cent raise in 2008

By signing this form, you'll be standing up for working families and tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians making only $7.25 an hour!

Add your name and tell your legislators that it's time to raise the minimum wage in PA
