SURJ Florida is a movement building organization committed to doing the work of organizing white folks towards racial and economic justice. Our vision is to create a community and a Florida where hundreds of thousands of white people, especially poor and working class white people, see and commit themselves to being more aligned with their neighbors of color, than with the right and ruling class. 

Through this work, we plan to build a statewide coordinating body that allows for the birth of local, community based organizing chapters that will further drive and inform the vision and campaign work of this collective. Our work is accountable to organizations with leaders of color in the state and serves to be a piece of the puzzle in building a strong, multi-racial movement for racial and economic justice. 

We believe this is a roadmap to a Florida where everyone's needs are met, our communities are strong, and we have built deep relationships with our neighbors in spite of the divide and conquer tactics those in power try to advance.
