Mayor Johnson & Gov. Pritzker: Save Chicago's Greyhound Station!

Chicago could lose its Greyhound station soon if our public officials don't figure out a solution.

Intercity bus service is a vital lifeline for many travelers, and Chicago's station is an essential Midwest hub, connecting people to jobs, family, education, and more. We need your voice to preserve regional bus service and protect riders.

If the current station closes, dozens of bus runs could cease operating altogether because of strained capacity, and the buses that remain would be pushed to a curb down the block where passengers would have to wait in the rain and snow.

New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Atlanta, Boston, Minneapolis, and other cities have publicly owned bus hubs. Chicago can, too. Public funding could also give time to study the best solution and improve connections to CTA, Metra, and Amtrak services. But we need the Mayor and Governor to act fast, buy the station, and protect intercity bus service.
