In his first week as President eight years ago, Donald Trump imposed an extreme Travel Ban (also known as the Muslim Ban) without warning. Families were ripped apart, deportations were widespread and protests erupted at U.S. airports across the country. Trump has reimposed the Travel Ban -- and again, it targets Iranians on the basis of their national heritage. If you have a live case, please consult with immigration attorneys BEFORE sharing your story.

Here are ways you can fight back: 

• Share your personal story of how this xenophobic ban is affecting you, your loved ones, and/or your community. Sharing your story publicly either in the media or to your Members of Congress is an important step in building the politicial support needed to fight and repeal the ban--especially if a member of Congress chooses to share your story. The more stories we collect, the better we can show the true human cost of the ban. *Please note that along with your story, only your name, city, state may be included in news articles and zip in Congressional hearings. • Are you an immigration lawyer? Please check off the box below if you're an immigration lawyer who would like to assist individuals who would be affected by the Travel Ban, and would like to be listed on our Travel Ban resource page. Our goal is to make sure people have immediate access to resources when they need them.
