We need YOUR support at the State House to pass two of our Top Priorities!

Over the past week, many pieces of firearm legislation have been printed, assigned to committees, and scheduled for Public Hearings. Two of these, LDs 677 (An Act to Update the Statutory Definition of "Machine Gun" and Prohibit Possession of a Rapid-fire Device) and 1126 (An Act Requiring Serial Numbers on Firearms and Prohibiting Undetectable Firearms) have been scheduled for a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 26 at 9:30 AM.

One of the most important ways to support legislation is by showing up in force and providing testimony in front of a committee. Legislators read the testimony we submit and pay close attention to how many Mainers are at each hearing when they think about how they're going to vote, both in the committee and once the bill gets in front of the full legislature.
