It's back to school season for Long Island Sound. Anybody who went to school understands a report card. Imagine if data from scientists could galvanize people and communities to protect their local waters? Or inspire elected officials to fund local environmental improvements, and stimulate engineers to devise ways to reduce pollution? The Long Island Sound Report Card aims to do just that by using data from scientists throughout the region, and then converting it into a transparent grade of the “health” of the Sound.
Join scientific experts, local leaders, federal officials, and environmental advocates for the release of the 2018 Long Island Sound Report Card.
