UpVote Virginia
Tell your legislators to support local Ranked Choice Voting!

Localities should decide how they use ranked choice voting:

Current Virginia law gives cities and counties the option to adopt ranked choice voting for city council or board of supervisors elections, but localities should be able to decide for themselves how best to use RCV - for school boards, mayors, etc. This is an easy adjustment to our existing law that doesn't cost the state or local governments any additional funds.

Tell your delegate and senator that they should support SB1009 (Salim) to give localities more control over how they use RCV.
