Montgomery Goes Purple is hosting their 7th Overdose Awareness Ceremony which will be held in Downtown Rockville. Recovery Month is an international observance to celebrate recovery and encourage individuals with a mental health or substance use disorder to seek recovery. This event is meant to reduce the negative stigma surrounding mental health and promote treatment along with recovery. 107,000 lives are lost each year to substance use, and our goal is to raise awareness and encourage people to reach out for help.
