Because of the collective, powerful organizing actions of many, the “county line” is dead. Now the New Jersey Legislature is fast tracking legislation (A5116/S4142) that disregards public and expert testimony on best practices in ballot design, and threatens to take our democracy backward.

At a time that our democratic institutions are being dismantled at the federal level, we need to stand up and tell the New Jersey Legislature that we will not stand for attacks on democracy here at home. We need to act now to stand up for fair ballots that voters deserve!
