The wild horses who call the Roberts Mountain Complex in Nevada home need your voice. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Mount Lewis Field office is seeking public comment on its plan to reduce the population of mustangs to a mere 104 horses on 162,000 acres of public lands just northwest of Eureka.

In addition to removing more than 90% of the horses in this Complex, the agency's plan allows for:
Fortunately, the BLM has allowed for the use of the humane, safe, effective fertility control vaccine PZP as part of its proposed plan. Instead of considering roundups and stockpiling, the BLM should focus on using PZP to manage these horses in the wild where they belong!
Take action now and urge the BLM to use humane, in-the-wild management and protect the wild horses of the Roberts Mountain Complex!
