Cincinnati Pride - Volunteer Sign-up (June 23, 2018)

This year, we have two volunteer opportunities for folks who would like to help advance our work while enjoying the Pride festivities:

1) Canvassing along the Parade Route - Join us as we walk along the Parade route and encourage folks to call their elected officials in support of House Bill 160. For the first time in nearly a decade, the Ohio Legislature is seriously considering a bill that would provide statewide nondiscrimination protections to LGBTQ Ohioans. As the Ohio Fairness Act (HB160) makes its way through the statehouse, it is crucial for our elected officials to hear the tremendous support behind this legislation. Help us reach as many supporters as possible by joining our Parade Route Canvassing Team! Your canvassing shift includes a half-hour training before the start of the Parade.

2) Tabling at the Pride Festival - Hang out at the Equality Ohio booth and help promote our efforts to achieve lived and legal equality for all LGBTQ Ohioans. You'll be volunteering alongside Equality Ohio staff members and interns, all of whom are happy to explain our work and answer any questions you may have.
