HEAL Together's Public Education Leadership Project (PELP) is a non-partisan national program to develop and train the next generation of public education leaders, including current school board members, to advance honest, accurate, and fully funded public education for all.

Many school board members and community advocates working for district-based policy change express frustration at the scarcity of model language that they can use to either draft new district policies or amend existing ones.

To meet this need, we have created an in-depth toolkit featuring current district policies from across the country addressing a range of equity-related topics that can help districts across the U.S. considering similar policies.
