An inclusive and equitable national recovery plan must also include dignity, safety and security for the millions of immigrant essential workers, including domestic workers, who continue to be on the frontlines of our global pandemic, performing jobs to keep our country running — in times of stability and crisis.

That's why we're demanding that Congress invest now in building a care economy — one that ensures that care jobs are good, dignified jobs. In order to make that happen, we need a pathway to citizenship for immigrant domestic workers.
