Speed Shop Aptos is bringing their mountain biking expertise and community energy to Nisene! Known for their rad bike gear and deep mechanic knowledge, they'll be sharing riding tips and fueling volunteers with extra snacks to keep the good vibes flowing. What We'll Be Doing

Help reclaim the Forest of Nisene Marks by removing English Ivy, an invasive species. Your work will reclaim the forest vine by vine and protect native vegetation in this beloved redwood forest.  

What to Bring

  • Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
  • Layered clothing appropriate for weather
  • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
  • Filled reusable water bottle and snacks
  • A cup for coffee in the morning
  • Work gloves and a hard hat or helmet (if you have them)
  • A change of clothes for the after-party!

What We'll Provide

  • Professional guidance from Advocates volunteers
  • Tools and equipment
  • Work gloves (if needed)
  • Morning coffee and light snacks
  • Training and guidance
  • Drink, meal, and raffle tickets for the after-party!
