GGWash hosts bimonthly happy hours at Grand Duchess* in Adams Morgan. May's will be on Sunday the 19th, from 3-5 p.m.

Meet others who want to see more housing, more affordable housing, fewer trips by car, and the land-use regulations necessary to support the above—plus, hear what GGWash is working on, particularly in the northwest D.C. planning areas**, and what you can do to get involved. * We're making 2024 the year of planning areas, static boundaries that the District uses to, well, plan. We have a critical mass of staff and supporters in the Mid-City, Near Northwest, and Rock Creek West planning areas, plus a great bar that's willing to host us regularly. Of course, all are welcome, regardless of address, and if you'd like us to do something similar in other parts of D.C., we'd love to—we just need your help getting it started. ** Grand Duchess is a bar. It's smallish, can get loud, and is up a flight of stairs. GGWash puts on a considerable number of events, and we acknowledge that some are less accessible than others. If you have a particular concern about this one, email abaca@ggwash.org and we will do our best to get you what you need, whether on the 19th or as a more general matter in our plans for future events.
