Right now, millions of people are at risk of being torn away from their families and deported because of our broken immigration system. After years of Congress's inability to pass comprehensive immigration reform and the Trump administration's mounting attacks on immigrant rights and communities, #PeopleLikeUs are at risk of losing their chance at the American Dream, simply because of a lack of political courage and action.

We cannot let this happen.

Earlier this year, dozens of Representatives took an important first step in addressing this issue by introducing and passing H.R. 6, the Dream and Promise Act. This vital piece of legislation provides a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients and allows people with Temporary Protected Status or Deferred Enforced Departure to apply for legal permanent status. Now the Senate must act. We need all of our Senators to know that this bill holds the lives and futures of millions of people in the balance and that it is critical that they act now to move this resolution forward. 

That's why we need you to join people like us—fellow New Americans, people of color, women, and allies—in urging our Senators to support this bill and bring it to a vote.
