Dear Secretary Zinke:
We are excited about the creation of an Outdoor Recreation Advisory Committee at the Department of the Interior. Human-powered outdoor recreation should be included in this advisory committee. Millions of Americans participate in human-powered recreation every year, including hiking, climbing, camping, mountain biking, paddling, skiing, and snowshoeing. These activities should be represented in a committee that is intended to advise our largest land management agency on outdoor recreation experiences on public lands.
