7/30 Day of Action: Continuing the Fight!

Brothers and Sisters:

IUPAT Apprenticeships and your hard-earned professional credentials are in danger.

As you know, IRAPs directly threaten trainees currently enrolled in union-led programs as well as all members who have had IUPAT training in the past.

This is a Call to Action for all hands on deck to fight against anti-union operatives in Washington.

We have organized a Day of Action blitz on Tuesday, July 30.

IUPAT Day of Action

PROTECT PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS +

SAVE UNION APPRENTICESHIPS

The IUPAT has directed all field staff to work directly with District Councils to hit job sites in order to gain as many comments as possible and assist members in submitting those comments.

It is critical that our members and signatory contractors comments to the Department of Labor against the IRAPs proposal, and you can now comment directly to the DOL.

How Can You Help?

  1. Take 5 minutes to submit comments against the IRAPs proposal to protect your credentials

  2. Encourage your friends and family to submit comments against the IRAPs by sharing this link via email and text, or

  3. Ask your female and veterans colleagues to submit personalized comments via these custom links:

  4. Download and save this QR code to your camera roll and ask your colleagues to scan this code with their iPhone or Android phones to submit their official comments before or after work, or during your lunch break
  5. Share this post on social media.

This action is vital to our survival as building trades unions. We need to make every effort to gain as many IUPAT member comments and continue to show our strength when we put our "Feet on the Street."
