As your constituent, I’m reaching out to let you know that gun safety is a priority for me. Texans deserve to live without the constant threat of gun violence, but year after year, our state fails to take meaningful steps to address this growing public health crisis.

Firearms are now the leading cause of death for Texas children and teens. Thousands of Texans are killed or injured annually in preventable shootings, yet life-saving policies—such as raising the age to purchase semi-automatic rifles, enacting safe gun storage laws, and funding community violence intervention programs—remain stalled in the Legislature.

It’s time to put the safety of Texans above politics. I urge you to:
