For the past 50 years, Illinois Stewardship Alliance has built a rich community of changemakers throughout the state, many of whom are excited about this years' celebratory events that bring farmers, eaters and food system leaders together to celebrate local food and those who produce it.
Summer Solstice Celebration, Springfield
The Celebration is a 15-year tradition and one of two Alliance fundraising events. This beloved event features a true farm-to-table dinner that highlights central Illinois' local food producers and Springfield's finest chefs. It takes place at Indian Creek Farmstead, a working farm in Petersburg. This dinner is expected to raise $30,000 in unrestricted funds from 175 attendees. The 2025 Solstice Celebration will take place on Sunday, June 22.
Farm to Fork Feast, Chicago
The Farm to Fork Feast is one of two fundraising events, inspired by the Solstice Celebration and driven by the demand of our growing membership base to gather in person. The Feast features a true farm-to-table dinner that highlights northern Illinois' local food producers and Chicago finest chefs. It takes place at McDonald Farm, a working farm in Naperville. This dinner is expected to raise $40,000 in unrestricted funds from 175 attendees. The 2025 Farm to Fork Feast will take place on Saturday, September 27.
