The Inaugural Mr. Arnulfo "Arnie" Reyes Teaching Award

Twenty-one families lost a loved one on May 24, 2022. Arnulfo “Arnie” Reyes lost eleven. Despite sustaining life-threatening injuries that day, he fought to survive. and he has fought every day since to honor his students with action. mr. Reyes fights for all teachers and students to safely attend school.

The Mr. Arnulfo "Arnie" Reyes Award recognizes and celebrates educators who go above and beyond for their students and make a positive impact in their community.

We are honored to award Mr. Reyes and One Winner inaugural golden apples and a $250 monetary award.
