Help us rescue and support the abused elephants of Thailand

Your donations have directly enabled the rescue of Som Boom (above enjoying his first post-rescue mud bath) and NamThip.
Please contribute today to help us care for these elephants in their new sanctuary haven and to bring other elephants to safety with them.

About 3,000 elephants in Thailand live lives of horrific abuse and privation. Fortunately, people on the ground there are trying to help. The Center for a Humane Economy has partnered with one of them, the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand and Save Elephant Foundation, and is working hard to support the rescue of elephants and the care of those already brought to its safe haven. This includes sponsoring individual elephants and specific components of the facility build-out.

But we can't do it without you.

Your donation through this page will fund the purchase of elephants from their abuses and support their shelter, food, and veterinary care. The rescue and sustenance of these elephants is expensive — and it won't happen unless organizations like the Center for a Humane Economy step in with resources from people like you.
