Gov. Walz & Lt. Gov. Flanagan Are Rewarding Frontline Workers!

Throughout the pandemic, frontline workers like you kept the rest of our state safe, healthy, fed, and housed, but too many workers saw zero recognition by their employers for the risk they were taking just by going to work. That's why many of these workers and frontline worker unions like SEIU worked with politicians like Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov. Flanagan to pass Frontline Worker Pay that sets aside $500 million to provide payments to frontline workers who couldn't work from home. That means hundreds of thousands of workers in our state will get some long-overdue financial recognition.

We know that corporations and CEOs have taken more and more for themselves and want to rig the system even more, but Gov. Walz, Lt. Gov. Flanagan, and DFL members of the State House and Senate made sure that $500 million of our state's budget surplus is going to the working people who risked their health and safety working in healthcare, cleaning, food processing, schools and more.

Before applying for your payment, check whether you're eligible below, and take just one minute to thank Gov. Walz & Lt. Gov. Flanagan for their work to make sure frontline workers are *finally* getting recognized for the work they do before being forwarded to the application.
