Summer Bike/Ped Advocacy Network Gathering: Advocacy Roundtable

Tuesday, June 3, 2025 @ 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Carnegie Library - East Liberty, 130 S Whitfield St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 (wheelchair accessible)

Come together with fellow advocates working for bike and pedestrian safety at BikePGH's Summer Advocacy Network Gathering!

There are bike and pedestrian advocacy groups in neighborhoods all over Pittsburgh and the surrounding municipalities, and these quarterly gatherings are an opportunity to support one another, share important updates that affect all of us, learn useful skills, and have a good time together.

For this season's gathering, we'll be having our 3rd Annual "Advocacy Campaign Roundtable", which features a guest speaker followed by conversations with representatives from three advocacy campaigns about their efforts. We'll hear from groups working on traffic calming in Oakland, pedestrianizing Walnut St in Shadyside, and more!

Our guest speaker this year will be Chris Maury from InformUp: Pittsburgh -- a new tool for informing residents about local government happenings that provides feedback directly to City Council. This could be a great new way to support your advocacy!

We'll also share updates on bike & pedestrian infrastructure projects happening across the city.

This is for anyone interested in bike & pedestrian advocacy, even if you don't have a campaign or you're not (yet) part of a bike/ped advocacy group!

We'll provide a light dinner (likely pizza).

Please fill out this form to request any accessibility or other accommodations needed for you to participate fully in this event. BikePGH will make best efforts to provide the services requested, but please note we may not be able to fulfill all requests.

Please email seth@bikepgh.org with questions or requests.
