In-Person Training on Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) 

Training for Practitioners

Continuing Education Credits are offered to MDs, Nurse Practitioners, PAs (Category I and DO's Category II), social workers (except from NJ), and psychologists.

Through live didactic presentations, participants will first learn about Tourette Syndrome (TS), common co-morbidities and the general strategy for treating TS. In addition, the behavioral model on which CBIT is based will be reviewed. The various assessment tools used to gauge treatment progress will be described. In the afternoon, using didactic instruction, video, and live demonstration, participants will learn many of the core components of the CBIT treatment.

Training Cost 
Total cost is $899 (USD), payable upon registration. This fee includes all training days and all TAA resources and materials needed for completion of the training. 

Cancellation/Refund Policy
A $100 (USD) processing fee will be charged for cancellations made on or before May 31, 2024. After this date, no refunds will be made. To cancel a registration, please submit your request in writing to Chantel Campbell at Chantel.Campbell@tourette.org

Attendee Information

Attendance Requirements:
In order to qualify for a CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION, trainees must complete the following:

1. Attend the entire two-day training program (Saturday, August 3 & Sunday, August 4, 2024).
2. Complete the follow-up phone calls with a designated TS-BTI faculty member, for which a patient case is needed. 

No exceptions will be made to these requirements!
