South Korea remains the only country that still allows intensive farming of dogs for their meat, but we're working hard with our rescue partners on the ground from Jindo Love Rescue to end this. Through this partnership, we just shut down a dog meat farm and saved 16 innocent dogs!
Nine dogs were in imminent danger of being killed for their meat, and the illegal farm they were kept on was so close to slaughterhouses they could have been dragged to their deaths at any time. And shortly after the rescue, a litter of seven pups was born at our rescue facility!
Thanks to your support, these dogs are now safe from being slaughtered, and the farm has been permanently shut down!
We couldn't be happier with this outcome, but costs are mounting!
Your generous donation will provide shelter at our foster facility in Gimhae, high-quality food, much-needed veterinary care for these dogs, specialized rehabilitation training, and assistance finding them forever homes in North America. The costs add up, but we're sure you'll agree these beautiful dogs are worth it!
Please make a donation to In Defense of Animals today to help provide for dog meat survivors.
It will also help us continue to amplify the voices of caring and compassionate activists in this country working tirelessly to change hearts and minds and end the dog meat trade forever, and to continue working with our rescue partner Jindo Love Rescue to save even more dogs.
We can't save lives without compassionate people like you who want to make the world a better place for animals.
We won't ever stop working to save animals, and hope you'll support our lifesaving efforts — your financial support is the difference between life and death.
