Important Information / Frequently Asked Questions:
How will I know if I will receive services?
Filling out this form does not guarantee access to services. The Center is able to offer a limited number of individual, couple, and family therapy sessions and participants will be selected on a first come, first served basis (eligibility allowing). We will contact you to confirm whether or not we can offer you services at this time. This may take up to two weeks. If we are unable to offer services we will discuss the option of being placed on a waitlist and provide referrals to other therapy services. Waiting time for services may vary depending on demand for services.
How often will I meet with the therapist?
The therapist will contact you to schedule an initial intake appointment. After the initial session, you will work with the clinician to determine the frequency and amount of subsequent sessions. All sessions will be 50 (fifty) minutes in length. Some people find that they only need one session, while others may continue with weekly, biweekly, or monthly sessions. Therapy provided by the Center is meant to be brief and provide short term support. Clients will be give referrals for additional services if needed. ***Please note: therapists' schedules are limited. Clients will need to work with their assigned therapist to schedule sessions based on therapist and client availability.***
