Graduate workers--the master's and doctoral students who do much of the teaching and research at Loyola--have waited two years since their union election for a fair contract. Unfortunately, Loyola leadership has denied their rights as employees; refusing to negotiate a fair contract with them. As an alumnus/alumna of Loyola University, I support the graduate workers and their democratically elected union's effort to improve their working conditions. I am calling on you as a Loyola University leader to live up to our Jesuit values and respect the rights of your employees.

I pledge to donate to Loyola when and only when you come to a fair agreement with graduate workers.
