Transportation Riders United is pround to celebrate 25 years of service to the Detroit area; educating, advocating and mobilizing Michiganders for more and better public transportation and other affordable sustainable mobility options. To celebrate TRU and all elected officials, partners, members and allies who made TRU's work possible, TRU is hosting a 25th Anniversary Gala on September 25, 2025, bringing together 200+ top transit leaders and supporters from across southeast Michigan.
