CJSJ's Still Rising: 10 Years After Freddie Gray's Death

The Campaign for Justice, Safety & Jobs is a coalition of organizations across Baltimore working to advance policy, economic, and justice solutions for our communities.

Join us as we honor the anniversary of the 2015 uprising with a screening of Not About A Riot by Malaika Aminata. This powerful film recounts the past ten years of police accountability work in Baltimore and invites us to reflect on what's needed for the struggles ahead.

Even ten years later, police violence continues. In 2025 alone, there have already been four police-involved killings, with three happening just this July. Our communities continue to face harm while being denied the behavioral health resources and real support systems we need to thrive.

This screening and conversation will ground us in truth and history while sharpening our commitment to real safety—rooted not in policing but in care, justice, and community power.

We hope you'll join us to remember, reflect, and strategize for the work that remains.
