Gros Ventre Wilderness: Mcleod Lake Field Day & Solitude Monitoring

Join WWA for this intimate group outing to McLeod Lake. This volunteer opportunity is both a field training for solitude monitoring and chance to support the Bridger-Teton National Forest in inventorying the backcountry campsites that are located around the lake. This remote granite lake basin is a difficult ascent but is worth the journey and it needs our help.

Note that this outing is rated difficult. The hike will be 10 miles round trip and approximately 3400' elevation gain/loss.

When: July 19, 2025 – 8 AM-4 PM

Where: Hoback, WY (exact locations & details will be provided once registered)
