BROWARD LGBTQ+ PREJUDICE REDUCTION CANVASSING March 30, 2024 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM ET In-person Event Join SAVE in reducing LGBTQ prejudice in Broward County. You will learn how to apply our "deep canvassing" model, which involves canvassers having meaningful conversations about LGBTQ prejudice at the doorsteps of voters. SAVE will give you all the tools and training you need to have high-impact conversations to reduce prejudice against our community! Background: In 2015, SAVE set out to find how to best reach voters at a granular level to reduce the biases fueling anti-LGBTQ campaigns. To address this issue, we teamed with the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Leadership LAB and researchers from Stanford University and the University of California Berkeley to conduct a scientific study to measure how effective our "deep canvassing" model is in creating change. The results were impressive. To learn more, visit: foundation.save.lgbt/prejudice_reduction_program
