In Washington DC, there are special interest groups and billionaires working with some members of Congress to propose the sell off of millions of acres of our country's public lands.
Idahoans rely on our 32 million acres of public land for our way of life. From hunting to hiking to climbing to fishing to skiing, Idaho wouldn't be Idaho without continued access to forests, mountains, rivers, lakes, deserts, and prairies that we all share. These lands are an important economic driver in rural communities as outdoor recreation adds nearly $4 billion annually to Idaho's economy and supports 37,000 jobs.
