This year marks the 43rd anniversary of the Gwangju Uprising. This event is being organized to remember the spirit of Gwangju and provide a critical analysis of the everyday people who fought against the state-sponsored violence. The event will include a presentation from Hayana Kim, PhD, a local Gwangju Scholar, a response from a community leader, and Q&A session.
