The gun industry should not be above the law. But because of a harmful federal law called the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA), the gun industry acts like it is. This law gives the gun industry unparalleled protections from civil lawsuits. And it comes at the expense of victims of gun violence and their families — who are too often effectively blocked from holding the gun industry accountable in court.

We're calling on Congress to pass the Equal Access to Justice for Victims of Gun Violence Act to repeal PLCAA and reopen the door to victims and survivors of gun violence to finally have their day in court against the gun industry.
