Taxpayers spend $1 billion a year on cyber charters that rank near the bottom in test scores for reading and math with almost no accountability. The four largest cyber charters in the state reported net assets totaling $486 million in 2022, up from roughly $600,000 in 2018.
Pennsylvania needs commonsense cyber charter reform now. Please, ask your state representative to co-sponsor HB 1422 — a bill that will modernize PA's cyber charter school law to protect kids and taxpayers.
