The New York Workers Circle School is hosting an Open House on Saturday, June 14, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Carmen's Garden, in front of Litchfield Villa (95 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, NY 11215, between 4th and 5th St).
We are a secular, progressive Jewish Sunday school focused on cultural heritage, social justice, and community building. Our program includes Yiddish language, Jewish traditions, activism, Israel Palestine from a diaspora perspective, a B'nei Mitzvah program, family trips, and more. Classes for children ages 6 months to 13 years are held twice a month on Sundays in central locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Our dynamic educators bring diverse backgrounds in arts, activism, and Yiddishism, creating a welcoming environment for multifaith, multiracial families. During the Open House, children will bring a Yiddish folktale to life with houses made from boxes, percussion made with stones, animal puppets, and original music, among other activities while parents connect with current families and learn more about our program.
Please contact New York Workers Circle School Director Madeline Solomon at msolomon@circle.org if you have any questions.
