Vote No on Morse Villlage Proposed Rezoning

Please reject Application No. LEGP 0192-2024 and Application No. LEGP 0208-2024. The Noblesville Common Council will vote on these proposed rezonings at the December 3 or 17, 2024 meetings. Vote NO.

As proposed, Lor Corporation's Morse Village should be a No-Go.

This proposal will forever reshape this community.  This 175-acre massive housing development includes five-story condo buildings and proposed retail. At the November 12, 2024, Planning Commission Meeting, the room was packed full of people who opposed the project, a testament to the community's united stance.

The proposed Morse Village project has advanced too quickly without democratic participation. More so, there are major traffic concerns about Hague Road becoming too overburdened.

Finally, there are environmental concerns regarding Morse Village. Most residents and I want to avoid seeing the beloved wildlife hotspot encroached upon. The bald eagles who call this home will likely not return with six years of construction scheduled to build Morse Village.  The area is also home to deer, foxes, and other beloved animals that we would like to see thrive in protected green space.

It should be noted that according to the Trust for Public Lands, Noblesville ranks worst in the state among municipalities for the size and reach of its park and protected green space system.

Please VOTE NO on rezoning proposals for land associated with Lor Corporation's Morse Village.
